The Giants travel to Philadelphia on Thursday night to take on the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field, a game that is important for both teams in very different ways.

For the Giants a playoff spot is on the line, as a win would clinch a trip to the postseason. The Giants could still get in with a loss, but there is no denying that the team would prefer to beat their divisional rival in prime time to guarantee they will be playing beyond Week 17.

For the Eagles, the idea of the playoffs are a distant memory, as they have lost five straight and nine of their last 11. The game holds importance, however, for head coach Doug Pederson, who needs to show he is still the man to lead this team into next season, and continue to coach rookie quarterback Carson Wentz.
